Monterey Peninsula Taxpayers Association Expresses Concerns to City Council about New Community Choice Aggregation Public Agency
On January 25, 2017, the Monterey City Council will hold a special meeting to discuss joining Monterey Bay Community Power, a community choice aggregation joint powers agency. The Monterey Peninsula Taxpayers Association believes that the public has received insufficient information about the possible negative ramifications of participating in this agency. Therefore, we have submitted this letter to the Monterey City Council.
